  • “Working with Ryan during a difficult time was incredibly meaningful. His guidance helped me build stronger boundaries and navigate challenges with greater confidence. I’m truly grateful for his help, and I consider the progress I’ve made as a direct result of the work we did together.”

  • “What I am most grateful for during our time together was how he validated my experiences, his kindness to me when I had little to none for myself, and how he subtly challenged what I thought was good or bad for me. The work we did together changed the way I see and relate to myself (and others) – it was truly remarkable.”

Before becoming a psychologist, I spent years working as a software engineer. I know what it’s like to move through the world analytically, to want things to make sense—and to hit the limits of logic when life gets hard. That curiosity about how people really work led me to therapy, first personally, then professionally.

Now, I help people move through the messy, complex, and often contradictory realities of being human. I bring a deep respect for each person’s inner world, and a steady presence to help make sense of it.

Clients often tell me they feel grounded in our work together. Like they can finally let their guard down without being flooded.

I ask real questions and reflect what I see. I take your inner life seriously, and I’m not afraid to challenge you when that’s what the work calls for.

    – M.

  • It is very apparent when talking to Ryan how smart and knowledgeable he is about the work. But what I’ve grown to admire is the way he has used his intelligence and knowledge of theory to become a more patient, compassionate, and thoughtful clinician. I think this is why many clients have been drawn to him in delicate times of ambivalence such as whether to stay or go in a relationship, or how to deal with other pivotal life events. I think this is why they feel him not only as a rock but holding an immense amount of wisdom and care.

  • Ryan is a thoughtful and sensitive clinician, deeply invested in his work. He brings diverse personal and professional experience to his clinical practice, allowing him to be flexibly responsive to diverse individuals and couples. Collaborating and consulting with Ryan, I am consistently impressed by his integration of sophisticated theoretical insight and intuitive, emotional understanding. Ryan also treats his patients as part of--and often suffering through--the society in which we live. This combination of strengths allows patients to feel seen and held on multiple levels.
